I like to shop around, so I contacted over 15 general contractors, and received quotes from about 10 of them. From the very beginning of the process I was impressed by Hugo's attention to detail, knowledge, and fair pricing. Many other GCs were price gauging at this time, some were "too lazy" to take measurements, and yet others never followed up at all. What I learned, from shopping around with so many GCs, is that many contractors will not scope or quote your project out entirely.
